In case of continuing the route straight
Answer options
Explanation
You move after the passenger car has passed.
At this junction no priority sign and no light is visible and both roads are surfaced; that is, the junction is of equal status and the "give way to the right" rule governs. The white passenger car approaches the junction from the crossing street and from your right, so priority is his and you must let him pass first.
The motorcycle on the left of the picture is precisely the detail the question relies on: it is also approaching the junction, but it is on your left and must give way to you. The real order of passage in this scene becomes: the passenger car, then you, then the motorcycle. That is, at one and the same junction you are both a giver and a receiver of priority — and that is exactly what the exam is measuring.
The safety logic of the rule is that at an unsigned junction each driver should have to watch only one direction. If the criterion were "whoever goes straight has priority", then at a crossroads where three cars go straight no order would emerge at all and everyone would move at once.
Worth memorising: going straight in itself brings no priority. At an equal-status junction all that matters is whether the other vehicle is coming from the right or from the left.
• This option assumes that straight-ahead movement creates priority; no such rule exists, and the car on your right still takes precedence over you.
