Is the driver of a red car allowed to drive on the tramway?
Answer options
Correct answer Allowed
Explanation
Allowed. Same-direction tram tracks laid level with the carriageway are not closed to non-rail vehicles: you may use them when all the lanes of your direction are occupied, and also for overtaking, passing an obstacle, turning left or making a U-turn — on two conditions, that no sign or marking forbids it and that you do not obstruct the tram. Priority on the rails always belongs to the tram; you are a guest in that lane. What remains prohibited in every case is driving on tram tracks of the opposite direction, and staying on the rails in a way that forces the tram to slow or stop.
