Explanation

The green car.

The yellow diamond in the middle of the picture shows that the road on which the blue car is travelling is the priority road; consequently the road opposite it, from which the red car comes, is the continuation of that same priority road. The red triangle on the right announces "give way" to the green car: the green car's road and the road of the yellow pickup opposite it are minor roads.

So the order has two layers. First the two priority-road vehicles — blue and red — pass. Then it is the minor road's turn, and here the second layer comes in: the green car has signalled left, while the pickup opposite it comes straight without indicators. A left turn must give way to the oncoming vehicle, so the pickup passes before the green car and the green car is the last to pass.

The green car effectively falls back twice: once because it is on the minor road, and once because it is turning left. That combination — minor road plus left turn — almost always means "last" in the exam; if you see both signs together in a picture, you can place that vehicle at the end of the queue without further calculation. The safety reason is clear too: this vehicle must cut across both the priority-road flow and the flow opposite it; the greatest number of conflict points means the least priority.

• The blue car is right beside the yellow diamond and on the priority road; it is among the first, not the last. • The yellow pickup is also on the minor road, and that makes it tempting, but it goes straight without indicators and the green car must give way to it; so it is one place ahead of the green car. • The red car is on the priority road, and the priority road passes before the minor road.
