Explanation
You may enter from either the right or the left lane. Entering a roundabout is an exception to the normal lane-positioning rule: you are not restricted to the rightmost lane as you would be for an ordinary right turn. The reason is structural — a two-lane approach must be able to feed a multi-lane ring, otherwise a queue forms at every entry. The exception disappears if directional arrows or lane-direction signs are posted at the entry, and a Give Way sign still obliges you to yield to traffic already circulating.
