Enter the intersection from the marked zone
Answer options
Explanation
Allowed in any case. The marked zone is part of the carriageway in your own direction of travel immediately before the intersection, and no restrictive marking such as a guide island or hatched area closes it, so entering the intersection from it is not restricted and is not tied to any particular manoeuvre. What limits you at this moment is not the marking but the traffic light: the main signal is red and only the additional right-hand section shows a green arrow. A green arrow in an additional section permits movement in that direction only, and because the main signal is red it grants no priority — you must give way to vehicles coming from other directions on their main green and to pedestrians. Keep the two questions apart: markings decide where you may enter from, the signal decides when and in which direction.
