The passenger car driver and the tram driver.

The yellow diamond on the right together with the small plate beneath it says you are on the priority road, but the priority road does not continue straight and turns right at this very junction. By going straight, you effectively leave the priority road and enter the minor road opposite.

Two take precedence over you. First the passenger car on the right: it is also on the priority road and is approaching from your right, and when the priority road changes direction, priority-road drivers apply between themselves the equal-status junction rule, that is, the right hand. Second the tram on the left: a tram in equal conditions takes precedence over non-rail vehicles, and the rails also curve to the right at this junction and pass in front of you.

By contrast, the car coming from the opposite direction is on the minor road and must give way to you; that is why "all the drivers" is not the correct answer. Worth memorising: being on the priority road guarantees nothing by itself: as soon as the priority-road direction plate bends, you must think simultaneously about the right-hand rule and about the tram's precedence. Get into the habit of reading the small plate first before the junction, then following the course of the rails.

• The tram really does take precedence, but it is not your only obstacle; the passenger car on the right is also travelling on the priority road and comes from your right hand. • The passenger car is right but incomplete; the tram's precedence in equal conditions holds independently of the side it comes from, and you cannot ignore it. • The oncoming car is on the minor road and is itself obliged to give way to you, so "all the drivers" is too broad.
