Who should the driver give way to when making a left turn?

The yellow diamond means your road is the priority road, and the supplementary plate beneath it shows that the priority road changes direction at this junction: the thick line comes from your path and continues upwards and to the right — the very road the bus is on. The left-hand arm is drawn with a thin line, that is, it is minor.

You have signalled left, that is, you are leaving the priority road and turning into the minor arm. The bus stays on the priority road and reaches the junction from your right; when the priority road changes direction, priority-road drivers apply between themselves the rules for a junction of equal-status roads, and in those rules priority belongs to the right. So you must give way to the bus. The silver car on the left is on the minor road and, on the contrary, must give way to you.

Worth memorising: "priority road" is not a permanent label that exempts you from giving way right through the junction; if your path leaves the priority road, your advantage ends there. The exam trap is the option "no one", which comes from that very misconception. And do not forget the pedestrian crossing markings in front of your car.
