Turning around is prohibited:
Answer options
Explanation
A U-turn is prohibited in all of the listed cases. This is the same prohibition list as before, with one extra item that is the one most often forgotten: visibility of the road less than 100 m in at least one direction. The first three are fixed places you can identify in advance, but the fourth depends on the moment — over a crest, at the end of a curve, behind a stopped truck, or in fog and rain the condition can be met where no sign warns you. The common reason behind every item is the same: a U-turn happens at almost zero speed and occupies the whole width of the road, so it is allowed only where there is both sight distance and room for others to escape.
